Lazarus Games Developer Day

Yesterday we attended Lazarus Games Developer Day and while it wasn't the largest event we've been to this year, it reminded us that some of the most valuable experiences come from smaller gatherings focusing on creating better games.

We had the opportunity to meet up with some of our local designer friends. I got to play a game from Manda that I've been wanting to try since Unpub. James provided great advice as usual. And we helped Tyler to come up with some new concepts for his flight of expasions. We also met several other designers and playtesters who all shared the same passion for tabletop game design. Everyone came from different backgrounds, worked on completely different kinds of games, and approached design from their own unique perspective. Despite those differences, we all come from the same place and share the goal of making excellent game.

Throughout the day we were able to put some of our designs in front of fresh eyes and gather an incredible amount of constructive feedback.

A huge thank you to everyone who sat down to play our games, offered feedback, and shared their own experiences with us. Every conversation helped shape the future of our projects.
